Youth Service America 2008 Internship Program

YOUTH SERVICE AMERICA (YSA) seeks to improve communities by increasing the number and diversity of young people, ages 5-25, serving in substantive roles. Founded in 1986, YSA is an international nonprofit resource center that partners with thousands of organizations in more than 100 countries to expand the impact of the youth service movement with families, communities, schools, corporations, and governments. For more information: www.YSA.org.

YSA’s Internship Program offers young people an opportunity to gain work experience in a national non-profit organization devoted to strengthening the role of youth as active contributors to their communities. In a small and dynamic team environment, interns work directly with staff members on different projects that advance YSA’s core strategies; public mobilization campaigns, tools, information and training; and incentives and recognition.
