- Inspire the Youngest Global Citizens with New Resources from Panwapa (Uploaded 3/17/2008)
- YSA is proud to collaborate with Sesame Workshop and their partner, the Merrill Lynch Foundation, to bring you Panwapa, an initiative to inspire children, ages 4 to 7, to be responsible global citizens. Panwapa – which in the Tshiluba language of the Democratic Republic of Congo means “here on this earth” – has new muppets, new stories, a ground-breaking website (www.panwapa.com), and some exciting activities for kids to connect with their communities and to explore cultures around the world. As you engage young children as volunteers, consider the many resources Panwapa has to offer to support your efforts to educate the youngest generation of global citizens.
