About Us		We are a small but vital transitional housing nonprofit in the Silver Spring, Takoma Park and Wheaton areas of Montgomery County, MD working at "Ending homelessness one family at a time." We have broken ground in our field by providing long term support to the families we serve empowering them to become self-sufficient. Volunteers make the services we provide to our resident familes possible.

Mission		Silver Sping Interfaith Housing Coalition's (SSIHC) mission is "Ending homelessness one family at a time." We are a (501c3) nonprofit of 24 local congregations collaborating to provide housing and support to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency. We provide case management and volunteer mentoring to help residents build stronger and more stable futures for themselves and their children.
