YSA's Internship Program (eight positions available) offers young people an opportunity to gain work experience in a national non-profit organization devoted to strengthening the role of youth as active contributors to their communities. In a small and dynamic team environment, interns work directly with staff members on different projects that advance YSA's core strategies: public mobilization campaigns; tools, information and training; and incentives and recognition.

Youth Service America is pleased to offer an AmeriCorps VISTA position to an organized, detail-oriented, and dynamic individual to join our team as we launch the Semester of Service 2009 program. The Americorps VISTA member’s key role will be to support and build the capacity of YSA’s Semester of Service sub-grantees to exponentially grow the participation of youth in Martin Luther King Day of Service through Global Youth Service Day 2009.

The YSA webmaster will be responsible for working with the content areas of Youth Service America's websites (YSA.org, servenet.org, and ServiceVote.org). They will work with staff to add new content and approve member contributions. YSA is heavily invested in social media technologies, and so the webmaster will also work to strengthen and grow our online communities through engagement as well as the creation of new tools.

ServiceNation is building a team of hard-working individuals who are passionate about service and improving our society. We envision an America in which citizens come together to solve some of our most challenging problems through service. In September, leaders from across the country will gather in New York for the ServiceNation Summit and two weeks later, in a thousand events in communities across the country, Americans will call on our leaders to expand service opportunities through a new National Service Act. We are looking for people to support this intensive grasstops and grassroots effort.
Campaign Coordinators will have two primary areas of foci: the Summit and Day of Action.
