If you are an organization with volunteer opportunities to add to servenet.org, you much first register with servenet.org! Register Your Organization!
If you have already registered yourself and your organization, please check your email in the next few days as we review your organization. Review takes 2-3 business days, and you will receive an email informing you that you've been granted "Non Profit Editor" status in the servenet system. This will allow you to post volunteer opportunities, job openings, and some press release information -- but these options will not work until your organization has been approved!
We allow non-profit organizations (with a 501(c)3 status if in the USA), educational institutions, hospitals with volunteer positions, and Government agencies to use our volunteer opportunity management and content management services.
The commopn reasons that we may reject an organization are:
- We are unable to verify the non-profit status of your organization or a government agency status.
- You have not provided us with enough information about your organization mission, program and potential resources that you provide on SERVEnet.
- If you have a web site, we suggest that you provide a functional web address.
- If you have too many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in your introduction.
You may reapply by recreating your organizational profile and correcting these common errors.
