Do you want to use your love of sport to create social change? Then volunteering at the 2010 Street Soccer USA Cup is a great opportunity for you!

Street Soccer USA is looking for volunteers of all ages to be a part of the 2010 Street Soccer USA Cup!

Through a 20-city league, Street Soccer USA aims to get homeless men, women, and youth off the streets, "scoring goals on the field, and achieving their goals in life." Throughout the year, teams train and compete in leagues. Players commit to change their lives by setting short and long-term personal goals. With the assistance of coaches and volunteers, each player is held accountable to meet – and even exceed – their vision for a better self.

The Street Soccer USA Cup is the culmination of the players efforts! Six to eight players from each team are chosen to represent their team and city and compete in the Cup, three full days of fast-paced, 4 versus 4 street soccer action.

The games are exciting, and a positive attitude runs through Kastles stadium, but what makes the tournament so special for the players is the support and encouragement they receive from the fans. Street Soccer USA and the players would deeply appreciate your participation in this tournament.

There are many fun and rewarding ways to get involved including:

1) attending the Cup, watching the games and cheering on the players -- the more fans the better! You can attend as many matches as you like!
2) creating signs and banners for fans to use during the tournament
3) writing letters of encouragement to the players during the months leading up to the tournament
