50- 100 volunteers are needed to assist with this annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration. El Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican celebration to honor and celebrate loved ones who have passes away. This celebration will entail an alter contest, artist workshops, demonstrations, children’s activities, a Mercado (featuring 20 local vendors with one of a kind artwork), entertainment, fabulous food, and a community altar, and procession. Volunteers are needed to accept the community altars, set-up and take-down for the event, assist with the Mercado, assist with Store sales, provide information/materials to the public, assist with the volunteer check-in, provided general directions and assistance, and other duties as needed. Spanish-speaking skills are highly desires in all capacities! Don’t miss this one of a kind cultural event!

Should be able to stand and walk with ease and cover at least one 3 hour shift per event.
