Reading and Math Tutors are trained to teach basic reading and math skills through a structured program. Tutors are matched with a student in grades K-12 whom they will work with each week. They will also design creative lessons and activities to enhance the existing curriculum. Tutors will have curriculum materials, supplies, library resources and staff support at their disposal. Each semester, tutors will have an opportunity to review their student’s progress report to see the impact they have had on their student’s academic and social advancement.
