The Food Pantry provides approximately 150 pantry members with two full bags of groceries each month, as well as filling emergency vouchers. Volunteers assist in the pickup of food donations, unpack donations and organize them on shelves, help pack and distribute weekly food pantry bags, deliver food pantry bags to homebound clients, distribute emergency food to clients with DSS vouchers, and help maintain order in the pantry (general cleanliness and maintenance). Food donations are also accepted. Groups of up to six are welcome. The minimum age for volunteers is 13 (when accompanied by a chaperone). Nothing else is required besides friendliness and patience.
Pantry volunteering times are Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-3:30pm.
Maximum Volunteers: [0]
Available Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
